Cheetham Salt currently operates nine solar salt fields throughout Australia with total production over 1.4 million tonnes annually. Five refineries produce a variety of salt grades. Together, the fields and the refineries supply salt for every need, from consumer size packs of cooking and table salt to entire shiploads of industrial salt.

Cheetham Salt's associate companies include Salpak throughout Australia, Western Salt Refinery in Western Australia, Dominion Salt and Cerebos-Skellerup in New Zealand. Salpak distributes household Table and Cooking Salt within Australia and Pacific nations, while Cerebos-Skellerup similarly distributes it throughout New Zealand. Dominion Salt operates a salt field and two refineries, processing approximately 60,000 tonnes of locally produced salt per year. A further 60,000 tonnes of salt is imported for processing from Cheetham's Australian operations. Western Salt Refinery supplies salt to Western Australia.

Cheetham Salt distributes salt throughout Australia, South East Asia and the Pacific region. Cheetham Salt continues to develop its Asian business with further development of its distribution networks and local manufacturing capability. Cheetham Salt has an established business in Indonesia and a sales office in Japan. The Indonesian business is supported by a solar salt refinery near Jakarta.
