Cheetham Salt offers an extensive selection of salt grain sizes. They range from very coarse salt used by butchers for pickling and packing meats, right down to micro-fine salt used to make butter. In between, we offer a wide variety of particle sizes to cater for all needs, from food ingredients to the manufacture of pharmaceuticals, and textiles to use in other industrial process.
R.A.M Medium Coarse Dry No.3 Salt
This dry, coarse product is manufactured for the stockfeed industry and has an average particle size of approximately 2.7mm. Suitable for providing salt free-choice, R.A.M Medium Coarse Dry is sold exclusively in Queensland.
R.A.M Dried Fine No.2 Salt (Iodised)
A kiln-dried, refined small grain salt with added iodine to a level of 100mg iodine per kilogram of salt.
R.A.M Dried Fine No.2 Salt
This kiln-dried, refined salt has a smaller crystal size and is particularly suited to the formulation of feedlot rations, concentrates and pet foods. The finer grain size allows easier uptake by smaller animals.
R.A.M Crushed Coarse No.1 Salt
This coarse-grained stockfeed salt is suitable for providing salt 'free-choice'. It is crushed and sieved to remove very large crystals and is resistant to caking and hardening.
