At our five salt production sites across Australia—Kevin, Sea Lake, Price, Bajool, and Corio—sustainability is key to making pure, clean salt.
The way in which we work must respect the unique environments we operate within, to ensure that the salt fields remain in healthy balance.
Our salt fields are located in regional areas that are surrounded by pristine landscapes featuring native vegetation, mangroves, saltmarshes, and coastal wetlands that support rich biodiversity. The Bajool and Price sites are particularly important in supporting blue carbon ecosystems. Natural coastal habitats like mangroves and saltmarshes that capture and store atmospheric carbon, help to mitigate climate change while supporting marine life and water quality.
All of our salt fields provide a natural habitat for several endangered and migratory bird species, making our environmental stewardship even more important.
We actively care for the ecosystems as high quality salt depends on keeping these environments healthy and balanced. From protecting biodiversity to maintaining clean, natural processes, our commitment to sustainability ensures our salt is not only pure but also responsibly made.
